Life is too Short for Boring Stationery : Part 3

Hooray for Part 3 of my stationery series! More online stores for you to look at and find the perfect stationery for you, or to find a talented person to make it for you.

City Girl Searching

Hello! My name is Roxy and I am a young South African living and working in South Korea with my husband and rescue pup. I love all things pretty and upon first setting eyes on the stationery here in Korea, I just knew I had to find a way to share it with my blog readers. The stationery here is unlike anything I have ever seen, it’s cute and creative, without being kitsch, functional and yet so unique in its design and quality. I started my online stationery store earlier this year as a way to share the magic of Korean stationery with everyone. I stock calendars, notebooks, pens and pencils, erasers, rulers, washi tape and loads of other packaging and wrapping goodies.

*As SA has had such problems with the post office recently I am not actually shipping to SA .... BUT if you are able to wait until January. I am coming home to SA for three weeks and will bring your orders over in my suitcase. We can chat about delivery then. Simply choose the “Pick up/Local Delivery in SA for Jan’ 15” shipping method.*

Clementine Creative

Hi, my name is Carmia Cronje, and I own a graphic design studio called Clementine Creative. I specialise in creating brand identities for women entrepreneurs. I also run an online shop selling printable paper goods like calendars, greeting cards, planners, wedding stationery, wall art and more. These goods can be downloaded instantly after purchase and printed at home or at a copy shop.

I started my stationery business because :

1.          I have always loved stationery and liked creating cards when I was a child.

2.          I wanted to have a creative outlet – design things that I would like to design and not  something that a client wants.

3.          I wanted to create passive income for my business so that I wouldn’t have to rely only on client work.

Favourites:

Printable Wall Art - Cat Lover Quote $4.00

Printable Weekly Planner (editable)-  Retro $5.50

Printable Birthday Calendar - Bible Verses $11.50

Happiness Is ...

Fathima Kathrada

So my business name for my stationery is Happiness is..., and comes from my blog name. The blog started way back in 2009 and I started delving into stationery about two years ago when I started my freelance design business. By profession I'm a graphic designer, and I started exploring illustration a few years ago after getting several comments on my "illustration skills", which up to that point I didn't really think I had. Once I started playing around with it I realised I did have some flair for it and really enjoy it, and thought a great way to get that out into the world would be through unique bespoke stationery items.

The stationery is really a sideline labour of love to my main graphic design work, so it's done as and when I can on a small scale, which is not a bad thing. However I have a notebook full of ideas that I'd love to execute in time. One of those ideas was the 2015 Calendar, which was just released for sale on Monday 24 November. It was quite a large undertaking and a big project for me, and it's very rewarding to see it completed and being appreciated by others. The theme of the 2015 Calendar is "Make 2015 Your Best Year Yet", focussing on positivity and motivation throughout the year, and I plan on extending that theme into smaller stationery items like notebooks, notepads, and more.

Ideally in the future I'd love to have my illustrations on various product items like tote bags, table cloths, dish towels, scarves and more! I'm always keen to collaborate with others who have products that could work well with illustrations.

I'm also open to custom illustration or stationery requests and create illustration and design for wedding stationery, which can be ordered from me directly at happiness.is.info@gmail.com.  I also have some items for sale on my Hello Pretty store.

People can keep up to date with what I'm doing by following me on my social media channels:
